Fathom stars in impressive B&Q store update

Spanning 300 nationwide stores and involving the design, manufacture, and distribution of over 8,000 flooring display boards, Fathom’s Retail Division has successfully completed the impressive update of B&Q’s entire wood, luxury vinyl, laminate, peel & stick and carpet tile collections for 2022.

As part of this major nationwide project for the DIY giant, Norfolk based Fathom were commissioned to refresh and replace the entire range of display boards in all stores in the UK and Ireland. Working closely with a senior project team based at B&Q headquarters; encompassing buyers, merchandisers, stock support and project management – the team at Fathom had to overcome numerous design challenges, with each store requiring their own bespoke solutions in order to maximise space and visual appeal.

With no two stores the same, Peter Barrett, Account Manager, Fathom, commented:
