Our First Month As FATHOM

Fathom

What an incredible first month we’ve had as FATHOM. We’ve encountered no end of support and encouragement for our re-brand and we’re very grateful for all the positivity we received – Thank you!

This month not only saw us unite four companies under one name and one vision, but it was filled with some accomplishments which we’re incredibly proud of.

POPAI Nomination for Best Short Run, Retail Display.

At the beginning of the month, Matt, Amy and Ellie took a trip to the Retail Expo at Olympia. It was a great day meeting potential and existing clients, but whilst there, they also received news that the business had been nominated for a POPAI award.

The POPAI award for Best Short Run, Permanent Display will be presented in October. Our nomination is for a retail display we created for V4 Flooring and is a design we’re incredibly proud of.

FATHOM are a Future50 Business

This month also saw FATHOM being chosen as a Future50 business. The EDP’s Future50 is a collection of Norfolk & Suffolk’s most innovative and ambitious companies to watch and we are delighted to have been included in this year’s cohort. It’s a very exciting time for FATHOM and being part of such a wonderful collection of businesses will only continue to inspire our drive and determination for growth and development.

May is also host to #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek which aims to highlight the importance of good mental wellbeing. We are proud to have our own wellness programme ‘Fit2FATHOM’ that promotes mental and physical wellbeing within the workplace. This is something we are very passionate about and have introduced a number of initiatives to promote positive health. We have begun our first weekly Pilates classes, which are free for our staff to attend, helping to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.

The Big LEAAAP

As you may have seen, this year we have chosen to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and two of our brave team members took part in The Big LEAAAP – a skydive in Beccles to raise money for the charity. Rai and Tony both completed the jump and raised £700 for the charity. We have a yearly target of £5000 and are determined to do everything we can to get there, with many more events planned this year to get us to our total!

Thank you again to everyone who has made our first month as FATHOM so wonderful! We’re excited to see what June and the rest of 2019 has in store for us.
