Meet The Team – Karen Boxall
No stranger to the FATHOM family, Karen has been a part of the team for a couple of years now having originally joined as part of the HR department. Through hard work and determination, Karen is considered a real asset to the business and recently received a promotion to Office Manager in recognition. So we thought it was time to find out more about FATHOM’s very own WonderWoman.
What do you do at FATHOM and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?
The role of Office Manager is diverse and no 2 days are the same. I oversee the Administration Team who are responsible for order processing, purchasing, dispatching and invoicing. HR, Compliance and Facilities also fall under my remit.
What led you to this role?
My career to date has been HR Officer, GP Practice Manager, Client Manager. I have worked in various business sectors which I believe will provide me with the experience and knowledge to succeed in this role.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working at FATHOM?
How strong the team spirit is throughout the entire business, everyone works together to get the job done.
Just for Fun – If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
It would have to be healing, with the current pandemic and the losses and suffering many have experienced.
