East Anglian Air Ambulance
Charity
It’s with great pleasure we announce that throughout 2019, the team at Fathom will be raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
After a staff vote, the East Anglian Air Ambulance was selected as this year’s charity of choice. This not only helps to raise funds for an incredible cause but also gets the entire Fathom team involved in some great activities. We have a number of events planned for 2019 including a sponsored skydive that two of our brave team members have signed up for. The jump is taking place on the 18th May at Beccles airfield. We also have a team taking part in Trek24, a 24mile trek that aims to help the Air Ambulance raise enough money to operate 24hrs a day, seven days a week- providing an additional 600 opportunities a year to save someone’s life.
The charity exists to save the lives of thousands of people across the Eastern region by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to people who are seriously ill or in life threatening conditions. After launching in 2000, the EAAA has attended over 25,000 lifesaving missions, touching the lives of thousands of people. With bases in Norwich and Cambridge, the charity covers the entirety of East Anglia and we are thrilled to play our part in helping fund the incredible work the EAAA do.
Our aim is to raise a total of £5000 throughout the year- The Fathom Five Thousand. You can keep an eye on our progress or make a donation to the cause by visiting our JustGiving page here.
