The Client:

Bluespace Ltd – Launched at the start of 2002, Bluespace has cultivated an outstanding reputation for design led office refurbishments and the furnishing of commercial interiors.

The Project:

Having previously worked with Bluespace on the successful multimillion-pound refurbishment of the training centre for Norwich City Football Club, FATHOM was thrilled to once again be asked by the team to collaborate with them. We were invited to offer our expertise in Workspace Furniture design and manufacturing for Bluespace’s commercial office client, Risk Policy Analysts (RPA) who were relocating to a fantastic new space within Norwich city centre.

The brief was to provide and install a sustainable solution for dividing up the RPA office space into separate team working zones, with a key focus on supporting employee wellbeing and increasing productivity. It was quickly identified that FATHOM’s storage wall system would be ideal for this purpose.

By using the double-sided version of the storage wall system complete with open boxes, the space could easily be spit up into zones. With the inclusion of dry wipe surfaces individual collaborative spaces were created, whilst the open boxes allowed for social interaction between neighbouring teams. The storage wall design enhanced the use of natural light from the large arched windows in the building, and allowed for the strategic placement of plants, which Bluespace had already identified as a key component in the approach to promoting employee wellbeing.

In addition, the pre-built modular nature of the FATHOM storage wall system, allowed the project to be swiftly delivered and installed in situ by our installation team. The result a fresh and contemporary office space.
