The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust has acquired a new state of the art facility named the Sid Watkins Building after the well know Formula One safety guru Sid Watkins OBE. This new building seeks to break from traditional NHS design, delivering a truly first-class patient and visitor experience which is closer to that of a hotel than a hospital. The new building is packed with bespoke designed fixed and loose furniture supplied by Fathom Contract Furniture including an eye-catching main reception area.
The three storey Sid Watkins Building provides inpatient specialized rehabilitation, outpatient, education and training, office facilities and top-quality relatives overnight accommodation.
Fathom were commissioned to produce a range of furniture including reception areas, staff bases, seating and bedroom furniture for this exciting and innovative project.
