FATHOM are highly experienced in the design and manufacturing of furniture and equipment for a wide variety of school projects from refurbishments and updates to ground up new builds.

Elstree University Technical College (UTC) comprised of newly developed buildings on Elstree Way in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. FATHOM are proud to have been involved in this project by supplying a range of high quality fixed and freestanding furniture solutions to exacting specifications.

The project included the provision of science laboratories, media rooms and staff facilities. The laboratories were fitted with a variety of our standard cupboards, tray units and tall storage solutions. We also supplied height adjustable tables with built in sinks and services. The media rooms were fitted out with storage solutions ranging from base cupboards to our A1 portfolio units. We also supplied lockers, made to order shelving and a variety of appliances as part of the project.

Elstree UTC is a new state-funded school for 14-19-year-olds which focuses specifically on technically-orientated study paths. The Elstree UTC specialises in entertainment technologies and crafts, electronic engineering and digital technologies. It aims to provide students wanting to build a career in the entertainment media industries with the skills required for these career paths.
