Agile approach proves a winner

Workspace Furniture

The UK headquarters of PZ Cussons, a leading name in consumer goods, is the latest to be equipped with a series of workspace furniture solutions from Fathom.

Specified by office interiors specialist EB Office Interiors, a combination of locker, storage wall and printer stations were part of the refurbishment project, with Fathom’s agile approach to cost-efficient manufacturing key to its involvement.

Tasked to create high-quality storage furniture that coordinated with stand-alone designer pieces, the Workplace Design team quickly forged a close connection with EB to overcome several design challenges. Examples included blending a wide range of units into both single wall banks and non-linear layouts while working around joinery fixtures and using storage units as free-standing room dividers.

The creative thinking and agile manufacturing strengths also allowed the integration of the printer and recycling points to optimise space and by incorporating overhead bridging units turned potentially dead areas into further valuable storage.

Edwin Fidler, Director EB Office Interiors Limited commented on this first venture with Fathom:

“Fathom were meticulous and fastidious in their approach to design, materials and timescales, meeting all our expectations and delivering a world-class joinery solution for our client – a world-class global corporation.”

Matt Cater, owner and director of Fathom added

“A growing number of office fit-out specialists are turning to Fathom to help fulfil their workplace furniture solution requirements. We have purposely positioned our business as one that offers the very best in quality, value and flexibility, something that resonates with our growing list of customers who looking for a partner that can deliver on an exacting brief, without compromise”
